WEBX Breakfast Meeting Reflection
On the 16th of December 2025, the WEBX Breakfast Meeting was filled with laughter, connection, and a shared intention: to celebrate the wins of 2025 and pave the way for even greater success in 2026.
There was joy in the room. Stories were exchanged. Futures were imagined. And yet, alongside the celebration, there was a quiet moment of reflection for me.
In the group photo, I couldn’t be seen. Not because I wasn’t present, but because of where I was seated.
It reminded me that visibility isn’t always about being in the frame. Sometimes it’s about being in the room, holding your ground, bringing your whole self, and knowing your value, whether or not it’s captured on camera.
When it was my time to close with words of wisdom, I shared this:
“We often hear others, but we don’t always take the time to truly listen. Listening asks more of us. It asks for presence, patience, and humility. Only when we slow down enough to listen, not to respond, not to defend, but to understand, do we truly hear what the other person is saying? And that is where the connection begins.”
I was there.
I contributed.
I belonged.
Progress isn’t only about business growth; it’s also about awareness, inclusion, and making space so everyone is truly seen. Here’s to success that doesn’t just look good, but feels right for all of us.
